As promised my munchasaurus friends, now Munchasurus Pi is back to daily track, I can update the holiday adventure again - 2nd day in Hong Kong...
2nd Day in Hong Kong, obviously still a little jet lag with the 8 hours difference... nevertheless, this never stops me from munching around.
I'm never a real early muncher, so me and grumpasurus went out a little late, first stop was a Taiwanese cafe in Mong Kok call Teawood. I have saw some reviews online and I have been eager to try this place out:

It took us 30 mins to queue (like 10 people before us), as we were in no hurry we were happily admiring the people with their food inside. The decoration was very friendly, atmosphere was spirited yet peaceful; a great cafe for couple or a few girls get together.
We went with some typical taiwanese famous street food type dishes, it also helps that the menu had a recommended by chef sign on the specialised dishes too. There food was freshly made, especially the beef noodles; the noodles was chewy and cooked just right, the soup based was very flavourism. I was really amazed at the quality considering it's suppose to be a cafe.
Who doesn't order a fancy drink if they can in a cute little cafe! Of course munchaurus did too! The mix fruit tea was quite interesting, it had very exotic fruits in as well as fruit you don't imagine in a tea such as figs and dragon fruit.
Final, but not least, the main reason i have decided to come here - the ice cream toast dessert tower. The toast as you can see is very very thick cut, the middle is cut into cubes (with very nice and soft bread so it was soft in the middle), toasted filled with cream, ice-cream, marshmallows, chocolate sauce and fruits... just heaven.
