Japanese food have always been one of munchasaurus' favourite food, from sushi, ramen, sukiyaki to takoyaki - I just love it all <3
I get very excited when it comes to finding a sushi restaurant with fresh seafood at a reasonable price. Lately, I've come across one which is on the outskirts of london - Atari-ya at Hendon. Atari-ya Foods is more well known as a chain of Japanese supermarket all around London (hence why their seafood is fresh).
You will probably come across a few Atari-ya in central London, but if you fancy a bit of a quiet, nice friendly Japanese style decor restaurant then this is the one, though you do get a constant stream of locals coming in and out for takeaways.
With a big variety of seafood to pick from, their seafood are all very fresh and prices are very reasonable - I'm talking about £2 .80 for toro (fatty tuna)! Even thought I haven't tried their hot food, I took sneak peeks of the other tables and they also look fantastic.
Basic Rolls - you just can't go too wrong with rolls but you can definitely taste fresh fish and the rice isn't hardly pressed so its nice and chewy
Nigiri - Munchasaurus' top 3 favourite nigiris must be scallop, sea shell fish and eel! The scallop here was just so fresh that it melts in your mouth!
Green Tea Ice Cream - the colour is telling you how green tea it was; it tasted like homemade, not overly sweet which totally brings out the taste of the green tea.
