Oyatsu Box

Lets change the topic for a little today because I've received a very exciting gift from my friend as a birthday surprise - An Oyatsu box.

This is all a recent new concept to me, a monthly subscription service of a small range of Japanese snacks that is only sold in Japan delivered to your doorstep… sounds brilliant! why didn't i think of it before? So happy that my friend told me she got me this for 2 months.

Got my 1st box delivered today, which i believe is the July edition of the Oyatsu box. When I saw the box labelled from Japan i couldn't be more excited before even opening it.

It comes in a cute little brown box, very neatly packaged.
It also comes with a note, in quite extended details to tell you what you've got, quite thoughtful right?
Koikeya Scon - Japanese BBQ Corn twist

Dragonball Z gummy candy & collectable card (this is munchasurus' favourite anime)
Hi-Chew premium - grape

Rilakkuma honey butter pretzels
LOTTE japanese drink candy mix - one of my favourite juice in Japanese convenience store was CC lemon, so happy they have that flavour

Yamoto sushi restaurant style miso soup

Koala No March - Strawberry flavours
Umaibo Premium (corn puff) - Camembert cheese flavour and Mentaiko flavour

8 different munchies in total, which is quite a good selections too, from candy, to chocolate to crisps, even miso soup. I'm very amazed at how compact they packed in that box. I would say Munchasaurus is quite a regular Japanese munchies muncher in general which made me more impressed with the range of  'crazy' flavours they've managed to surprised me with.

I did have a sneak peak at their prices online (sorry my dear friend). It's $25/month for the subscription (which is about £14ish) with free delivery worldwide, plus all the excitement and surprises that comes with it - it's totally worth it.
