Byron Hamburgers [UK, Milton Keynes]

Munchasaurus Pi have been trying to be really good with money lately so you can see I haven't been very active with her munchasurus journey (a little heads up - I'm saving for an epic munch journey in the East so remember to watch this space). But Byron hamburgers just opened up like 5 minutes from where i live.. how can I resist the temptation?

It's not the first time I've been to Byron, but it's the first time in this particular one that's new near my home.

Munchasaurus Pi ordered a 'Byron'; crunchy crispy bacon, thickish cut mature cheddar, lettuce, onion and tomato with special byron sauce (tbh, looks and taste a bit like burger sauce to me which is a combination of ketchup and mayo...), I'd also added a portobello mushroom on top. It would be better if the hamburger was just like 3/4mm thicker though:

Their onion rings are the best I'd eaten for AGES - crispy, crunchy and seasoned perfectly with yummy herbs in the batter, what more can I ask from onion rings?

With 3 of us, the bill comes up £50, not cheap for burgers indeed, we're talking about £10 for the burger with no sides... the onion rings are definitely worth the £3 though.
